Theatre: Critics' Award

Late in 1935, dissatisfied with the Pulitzer awards for drama, Manhattan's play critics decided to make annual awards of their own. For 1935-36 they chose as best American play Maxwell Anderson's Winterset, for 1936-37 Anderson's High Tor.
