ECONOMICS: Then or Never
The first two or three months of peace in Europe will be the bestand perhaps the onlytime to meet Europe's urgent food needs (TIME, April 2). Reason: it will take that long to reallocate Atlantic war shipping to the Pacific, and ships otherwise idle could be used in the meantime to carry civilian supplies.
