At last week's international space conference at Nice, France, the hottest subject was "exobiology," a newly coined word for the study of life that may exist beyond the earth. Space Scientist Anatoly Blagonravov, head of the Soviet delegation, announced that the Russians intend to aim rockets at both Mars and Venus. Said he: "Instruments brought into the immediate proximity of the surfaces of other planets will permit, in the near future, the solution of one of the mysteries of the world, the existence of life on other planets."
