It is adolescent boys with their newest toy." Ralph DesLauriers, owner of the Bolton Valley Resort in Vermont, compares the gripers with "people in the horse-drawn carriages reacting to cars driving by." At least skiers can be grateful that snowboarders cannot gun their engines and spew exhaust.
