MARCH 2008: Spring Fashion — The Kids are Alright: Looking at the Newest Luxury Consumer

Issue will focus on the Millennial Generation and how they perceive and consume luxury — from Tokyo’s Omotesando to New York’s Fifth Avenue. Issue will feature global luxury trends and trendsetters that appeal to the Millennial consumer. In its second installment, the Global Luxury Survey will concentrate on the U.S. Market, specifically the Millennials. Features will profile consumers, designers, and influencers in markets around the world including China, U.S., Japan and the Middle East. A-List will look at best-selling cell phones around the world. Beauty and cosmetics coverage will be expanded and a travel section will be added within Notebook.

APRIL 2008: Design 100

Now in its second year, TIME Style & Design’s Design 100 issue has become a must-read for design aficionados around the world. This issue will provide a 360-degree view of who and what has influenced the world of design over the past year. This issue will also include expanded coverage of green design as well as a special feature, “Where Ideas Come From” — an in-depth look at the creative process with the “inspiration boards” of five influential designers from fashion, interior design, industrial design, hotel design, and package design.

SEPTEMBER 2008: Fall Fashion — The Fashion Makers

TIME Style & Design takes readers around the world to look at an array of fascinating people dubbed “the true influencers.” Timed to coincide with Fashion Week in New York, Paris, London and Milan, this issue will also feature part three of the Global Luxury Survey, focusing on Europe.

OCTOBER 2008: Men’s Fall Fashion — Living in a Customized World

First-ever issue dedicated to menswear with enhanced cover package featuring the latest trends in men’s fashion and accessories. Issue will focus on all kinds of customization from the obvious bespoke suit to the programmed cell phone to the personal chef. A personality will be featured on the cover for the first time. A second menswear issue is on tap for Spring 2009.

NOVEMBER 2008: The Globetrotter

Not just your average travel guide, this new issue of TIME Style & Design will look at how influencers and trendsetters travel today—where they stay, eat, congregate, relax and seek inspiration. Think of it as the ultimate list of cutting-edge places to go and things to see.
