RUSSIA . . . STEMMING THE NUKE LEAK

Moscow nabbed two thieves who were about to make off with 21 pounds of plutonium from a nuclear complex in central Russia. The non-weapons grade element can be used to make fuel for nuclear power plants. The arrests were the latest in a series of cases involving theft of nuke material from Russian plants and research facilities.
