GOLDEN GLOBES . . . "GUMP," "PULP FICTION" LEAD
"Forrest Gump" snared a leading seven Golden Globe nominations, while maverick director Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction" grabbed a second-place six nominations in the dramatic motion picture category. The other contenders for the big banana in the Oscars dry-run: "Legends of the Fall," "Nell" and "Quiz Show." The winners, chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, will be announced Jan. 21 at the Beverly Hilton. The nominees in the group's other picture category, best musical comedy, were: "The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert," "Ed Wood," "Four Weddings and a Funeral," "The Lion King," and "Ready to Wear."
