MARKETS CHEER INTEREST RATE STABILITY
The Dow Jones industrial average rose again today, climbing 23.88 points to close at 3,932.34. The index surged by nearly 50 points last Friday. Today's finish is the best for the blue-chip measure since October 19, when it closed at 3,936.04. The New York Stock Exchange composite index climbed 1.86 to 255.81. The Nasdaq Stock Market composite rose 6.00 to close at 768.16. The American Stock Exchange market value index rose 1.40 to 437.53.MONEY ONLINE will return tomorrow.
