DARK FORECAST FOR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

A new study from the Southern California Earthquake Center says that there is an 86 percent likelihood that an earthquake of magnitude 7 or higher will hit Southern California by the year 2024. This is the most severe forecast so far. Last year's Northridge quake registered 6.7 on the Richter scale. It killed 61 people and injured 9,000.
