NOBEL PRIZE WINNER WILL TESTIFY FOR O.J.

Trying to counter the prosecution's DNA evidence, O.J. Simpson's lawyers will call to the witness stand Kary Mullis, the Nobel Prize-winning chemist who invented the DNA process used in the case, New York Newsday reported today. Mullis said before the Simpson trial that the process called PCR is overused in criminal cases, can multiply contaminants billions of times over and disguise the DNA of the actual evidence.
