CHAPEL HILL SNIPER WAS A LAW STUDENT

The gunman who killed two people and wounded two others during a shooting spree in downtown Chapel Hill, N.C., yesterday, has been identified as Wendell Williamson, a University of North Carolina law student. Williamson's parents have said that their son was recently treated for mental illness, while fellow law students described their classmate as a disturbed man who talked to himself and had public outbursts.
