UNABOMBER WANTS INK

In a letter to the New York Times published today, the so-calledUnabomber offered to end his 17 year mail bombing campaignif the major print media would publish a long article detailing his views. TheTimesdid not say whether it would publish the article. The bomber sent letters to theTimesand two of his former victims. They were delivered Monday along with the bomb that killed president of the California Forestry Association Gilbert B. Murray. In the letter to theTimes, the Unabomber said he was part of a group whose goal is "the destruction of the worldwide industrial system" and who would like to "break down all society into very small, completely autonomous units."
