GUILTY PLEA IN MURDER OF MICHAEL JORDAN'S FATHER
Larry Demery, one of two men accused of killing basketball superstarMichael Jordan's father, has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and will testify against Daniel Green, the other youth charged with the crime. James Jordan was shot in July, 1993 while asleep in his car on the side of a highway, enroute to his home in Charlotte, NC. Previously pleading innocent, Demery had told authorities that he helped dispose of the body, which was found in a South Carolina swamp, but that Green had pulled the trigger.
