A Virtual Sorting Hat for Palm Wizards
At Harry Potter's Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, first-year students don the Sorting Hat, a magical hat that assigns students to one of the four dorms, or houses, in which the students live for the rest of their seven years at the school. The houses, named for the four founding wizards of the academy, have special significance for the wizards-in-training based on the personality of the namesake and the history of the house.
If you're like me and you've discovered the guilty pleasure that Harry Potter's adventures have to offer adults as well as children, you might have wondered which of the Hogwarts houses you'd belong to if you attended Hogwarts with Harry. If your kids are Potter fans, there's no doubt they've wondered about it. Thanks to Jim Knopf, Palm PDA wizards can find out.
