The Rally Monkey

Do we believe in the power of the Rally Monkey? If you're talking about the power of the Rally Monkey to annoy us, then yes, we certainly do. Sure, the Anaheim Angels have had a wonderful year, a fairy tale defiled only by the Rally Monkey, a near-ubiquitous capuchin who appears on the hometown scoreboard whenever Michael Eisner's boys are in need of a little anthropoid intervention. Now the proud master of his very own website, the RM also appears on t-shirts, as a stuffed animal and in hand-puppet form. But while it may be all bananas and hot chicks right now for the Rally Monkey, there's something he needs to remember: the anthropomorphic cuteness thing only lasts so long. Just ask the Taco Bell Chihuahua.
