Unveiled: Female TV announcer Shakaba Amid goes on the airwaves without a burka during the news hour for the Islamic State of Afghanistan's TV station, closed by the Taliban for seven years. "The Taliban never destroyed their equipment," says Stanmeyer. "It was just sitting in storage. This was their second day on the air."
