Pets often provide the kind of love that humans can't. They are blind to our faults and quick to forgive. The presidency can be a deeply lonely office, and the demands can nearly overwhelm. It must be nice for even the most powerful men on earth to know there will always be someone waiting for them at the end of the day ready with a welcoming bark, or a comforting purr whose confidence never wavers. |
