The Scientist:
Williams call his book "The Science of Hitting," and he approached it as such. The ambition often attributed to him, shown here on an exhibit at his museum in TK, was something that he felt could only be done through methodical hard work. "In order to hit a baseball properly," he once explained, "a man has got to devote every ounce of his concentration to it."
