Japanese bomber pilots receive their orders onboard an aircraft carrier prior to commencing their mission of bombing Pearl Harbor. Admiral Yamamoto Isoroku hoped that a quick surprise attack on the U.S. fleet would make the Americans petition for peace, leaving the Pacific open for the Japanese expansion.
