One Bar At A Time
Koch poses in St. Louis for his first delivery in Missouri, not far from where his great-great-grandfather's brewery had been located. In the early years of the company's existence, Koch traveled from bar to bar himself, trying to persuade bartenders to carry his product. Six weeks after the beer hit the market, it was voted "The Best Beer in America" at the Great American Beer Festival.
