This image, released on Nov. 5, 2008, claims to show Kim with a North Korean military unit. The BBC and the U.K.'s Times newspaper have raised questions about the legitimacy of this image. Experts point to a line at knee-height that runs behind the soldiers in the front row of the reviewing stand where Kim poses. The line stops at the two soldiers standing to Kim's left and right, suggesting that he was digitally inserted into the photo.
