Tara Donovan is a 39-year-old New York-based artist who makes ingenious, captivating and laugh-out-loud beautiful sculpture from the most ordinary materials. For any given piece she works with just one of them as a building block — styrofoam cups, plastic soda straws, Scotch tape, you name it.
