The Attack
On December 14, Muntazer al-Zaidi, a television journalist attending a press conference with President Bush and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, threw both of his shoes at the U.S. President. As he threw the shoes, he shouted, "This is a gift from the Iraqis; this is the farewell kiss, you dog!"
