On his 80th anniversary, in 2006, Pooh was honored with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. After eight decades, the cuddly bear remains a commercial juggernaut. In addition to the release of Return to the Hundred Acre Wood, an animated television show, My Friends Tigger and Pooh, continues to air on the Disney Channel, and it is said that the studio has plans for another feature-length film, set to be released in 2011.
