Earthquake in Yushu County, China
A 7.1 magnitude earthquake hit Yushu County in northwest China's Qinghai Province Wednesday morning, leaving more than 600 dead and 9,000 injured. The disaster has garnered a swift response by the central government, as Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, center, arrived Thursday evening to check on the rescue mission and to meet with survivors.
