One Boy's Story
Ramzi Thaer Rafik, 15, has not met many Israelis. He says he spoke to one once, five years ago. "I was 10 years old, but I remember it very well," he says. The Israeli was a soldier, and he demanded to know why the young Palestinian was going from one end of his village to the other. Ramzi answered that he was on his way to school.
