Walking the Line of Succession
The exhibit is arranged chronologically. Visitors start with King George III and weave their way through the decades, until they reach the current First Couple. The gallery cost $2 million and took about a year to put together. Gerald Ford, right, shares the room with Richard Nixon and Lyndon B. Johnson.
