By the end of the second week of revolutionary turmoil, tens of thousands of expatriates had fled the country spilling over the Egyptian and Tunisian borders, out of Tripoli on chartered evacuation flights, and into the port at Benghazi, Libya's second largest city, which is now under rebel control.
