Holiday Decorations Shine at the White House

The official 2011 White House Christmas tree is an 18-ft. 6-in. (5.6 m) balsam fir tree that honors Blue Star families (families who have a member in the armed services). It is decorated with framed military medals and handmade holiday cards created by military children living on installations around the world.
