Prince William Turns 30

Royal Debut
On June 21, 1982, Prince William became the first heir to the British throne born in a hospital. The following day Prince Charles and Princess Diana, who spent 16 hours in labor, left London's St. Mary's Hospital with William swaddled in a blanket. He weighed in at 7lb and 1.5 oz. Crowds gathered outside of the hospital and Buckingham Palace to welcome him to the world.
