WILDFIRE
A wildfire burns 100 acres, coming within 200 yards of an apartment complex in Suisun City, Calif., as temperatures rose to more than 100 degrees in the Sacramento Valley area. Approximately 375 firefighters worked in high temperatures to bring the fire to 60 percent containment. Wednesday, May 30, 2001.
