AIR DISASTER
A South Korean army CH-47 Chinook helicopter begins to break up after striking a giant sculpture it was lowering onto a plinth above a road bridge in Seoul. Three crewmen died after the rotors clipped the statue sending the helicopter crashing to the ground, where it exploded in flames. Tuesday, May 29, 2001.
