ATLANTEAN ARC
The Space Shuttle Atlantis arcs into the sky over the Atlantic Ocean, casting a fiery glow after its early morning liftoff from Kennedy Space Center, Fla. The five-crew mission is the 10th assembly flight to the International Space Station. The primary payload on the mission is the joint airlock module, which will require two space walks to attach it to the Space Station. Thursday, July 12, 2001.
