AIRLINE ATTACK
Sri Lankan troops walk by a destroyed Sri Lankan Airlines Airbus aircraft at the Bandaranaike International Airport. Rebels attacked Sri Lanka's only international airport, in Katunayake, some 8 miles northeast from the capital Colombo. Nine rebels and five military men were killed in the attack.
