A suspected Mungiki sect member was injured during clashes with Kenyan riot police in the streets of the capital Nairobi. Kenyan police fired live bullets in the air and arrested at least twenty suspects of the banned Mungiki sect in a street fight after its members disrupted a meeting of the Mau Mau movement (Saturday, October 4, 2003)
