2006 Ask Dr. Weil
This week, a series of studies of both Western and Asian subjects revealed more links between food and cancer. Tests showed estrogen-positive breast cancer increased most in women who ate the most red meat while regular, moderate consumption of whole soy foods was shown to affect development of breast tissue in young females, reducing the chances of breast cancer.
Do you have a question about these studies for Dr. Weil? Ask them or share your story below and we will post the doctor's responses online this week.
