Industrial designer Lovegrove has put his talents to the test for a Who's Who of companies—Kartell, Apple and Louis Vuitton—over the past 20-plus years. Among his latest collaborations is MOD, a range of streamlined bath fixtures for the venerable Turkish company VitrA, one of the largest manufacturers of bathroom products in the world. The good news: the modular line includes some (relatively) affordable options. The bad news: it's not available in the U.S. until 2008. For those who can't wait until then, Lovegrove's award-winning Istanbul series, also for VitrA, hits the U.S. next month. There are sinks, tiles, showerheads and accessories—all inspired by Lovegrove's signature organic forms.
