Kelly Wearstler
For 10 weeks, contestants on Bravo's reality series Top Design worked to impress Wearstler, who served as a judge on the show, on challenges like creating an inner sanctum for a mystery client. Now that the program has wrapped, Wearstler should have plenty of time to focus on her own inner sanctumthe 1920s Beverly Hills estate and former home of James Bond producer Albert Broccoli that she and her husband recently bought. "It is a major renovation," says Wearstler of the project, which will be documented in a book due out next year. "We're bringing the house back to its original Hollywood glamour roots." Hollywood glamour is Wearstler's trademark. She decked out the Viceroy hotel in Santa Monica, Calif., with Kelly-green leather and silver-gray marble, and swathed the walls of the cafe at New York City department store Bergdorf Goodman in robin's-egg-blue silk. It's now possible to emulateor attempt to emulateWearstler's look, thanks to her new fabric, rug and wallpaper lines. Bedding and tabletop ranges are in the works.
