The sicko serial killer knows the identity of his FBI pursuer (Diane Lane). So naturally her boss tells her to spend a rainy night in a cheap motel room, alone and unprotected. There are other glaring idiocies in this cop thriller that plays like a lesser episode of Saw. But what's vilest about this torture porn is that it pretends to have a conscience.
