It's ironic that Grand Theft Auto is the poster thug for mindless violent gaming, since no other franchise commits so fully to games as an artistic storytelling medium. It's back, grimmer in tone, slicker in graphics, with the tale of an immigrant in a gritty pseudo New York City.
