Duffy is Winehouse-y in that she's young, British and has a voice perfect for three-minute melodrama. Also in that her album is full of killer retro-inspired contemporary songs. The notable difference is that Duffy is innocent enough to believe that everything the Supremes once sang is still true. In other words, she's cute, not crazy.
