Here's the Harry Callahan quintet — the 1971 original, plus Magnum Force, The Enforcer, Sudden Impact and The Dead Pool — about the semisociopathic cop with a gift for macho aphorisms ("Do ya feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?"; "Go ahead, make my day"). You'll find about 2 1/2 good movies here, but the whole oeuvre still packs a sick wallop.
