Primitive man battles the woolly mammoth in this brainless epic from the director who summoned an instant Ice Age in The Day After Tomorrow. Modern to the max in its CGI effects, the film is prehistoric in its futile stabs at drama. It's a big, dumb thing, more woolly than it is mammoth.
