Presidential Candidates on MySpace
Many Americans will decide whom to vote for based on their MySpace pages. To save you the time of researching their sites yourself, we reviewed all 18 of the candidates from both major parties ranked from lamest to coolest. It's all about the Dodd Pod, the iPod that the senator carries with him at all times. He lists a new song each day that he's added: Ben Lee, The Silversun Pickups, Arcade Fire. Who doesn't like a friend who turns them on to new music? And it seemed cool that his number three friend is the voice of Kim Possible, Christy Romano, who has him as her number two friend on her site. He's more popular than Christy Romano! Meanwhile, Dodd's number two friend is "The Danimal," a man who is about to break Dodd's heart as soon as the senator finds out that Danimal recently wrote a blog entry on his site titled, "Chuck Hagel is da man yo!" But as bad as I felt for the betrayed Dodd, I couldn't keep him as a friend because he kept bulleting me including one asking me to vote on an online poll for Iowa's Channel 13 news about which candidate the station should profile next. Dodd, like so many people who make you mixes, is insecure and needy.
