Pro: The most powerful man in horse racing, "Sheik Mo" owns some 3,800 thoroughbreds on four continents. His Dubai World Cup offers a total purse of $6 million (richest in the world) and the prize may rise to $10 million. Even has a 747 to shuttle his studs around the globe.

Con: His high-priced horses have failed to deliver a coveted Kentucky Derby win. The sheik's best finish was sixth. This year, none of his three-year-olds were good enough to merit a Derby start.
