The Best-Selling Bounty Hunter
You Can Run but You Can't Hide, the memoir of bounty hunter and former convict Duane (Dog) Chapman, debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times best-seller list. "My hopes were for the Top 10," Chapman tells TIME. "But I never expected No. 1." Chapman, who has gained a following of more than 4 million via his A&E reality show, says he began taking notes for the book at age 14. He says the message of his ghostwritten book is that the American Dream is possible for anyone "of course, as long as they don't commit felonies." The Dog's next goal: writing a book about fatherhood.
