"That's an excellent question."
—responding to a supporter who asked, "How do we beat the b---ch?," presumably referring to Democratic rival Hillary Clinton. McCain went on to say he had great respect for the New York Senator and anyone who wins the Democratic presidential nomination. McCain's manager later criticized CNN for its coverage of the incident, saying "the liberal media" just wants to cripple the Arizona Republican's campaign.
