"The Romney campaign is confirming that it referred reporters to two recipients of the calls without disclosing that the two were also on the Romney campaign payroll."

Talking Points Memo blog post concerning anti-Mormon push polls directed at Romney in Iowa and New Hampshire. After admitting that it had failed to disclose information about some of the people who claimed to have received the calls, the Romney campaign found itself in the uncomfortable position of having to deny some speculation that it may have had a role in the dirty campaign tactic in order to steal voters' support from rivals.
