"If you're just talking about income, how about $5 million?"
McCain, when asked at Rick Warren's Saddleback Forum to provide a number at which point a person has moved "from middle class to rich." McCain immediately predicted that his remark would become attack ad fodder, and sure enough, the Democratic National Committee released an online ad using the remark as evidence that the Republican presidential nominee is an out-of-touch elitist.
