Confronted Barack Obama on his donors. Confronted Anderson Cooper on his allocation of time. Gave an answer on tax policy and the environment that was almost like a response a real candidate would give. Bottom line: he'd be a strong wartime candidate — if the war was Vietnam. At least thanks to the weirdness of some of the format, Gravel's wasn't the wackiest voice of the evening.
